Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using Social Synk ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Social Synk.

Service Description

Social Synk is a unified social media inbox management platform that provides:

  • Unified Messaging: Centralized inbox for Facebook and Instagram conversations
  • AI-Powered Categorization: Automatic message organization using OpenAI technology
  • Message Templates: Quick response templates for efficient communication
  • Real-time Sync: Live synchronization with connected social media platforms
  • Analytics & Insights: Message performance and engagement tracking

Payment Terms & Billing

Social Synk offers subscription-based pricing with the following terms:

  • Free Trial: Free trial available for new users via Polar.sh, no credit card required
  • Subscription Plans: Monthly recurring billing for Creator ($9.9/month) and Agency ($19.9/month) plans
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our trusted payment partner
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
  • Taxes: Applicable taxes will be added to your subscription fee based on your location

Cancellation & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with Social Synk:

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
  • Service Continuation: Upon cancellation, your service will continue until the end of your current billing period
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refunds available within 30 days of your first purchase
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method

Data Retention for Inactive Accounts

To ensure efficient service operation and resource management, inactive accounts are handled as follows:

  • 30 Days Without Active Subscription: Connected social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram) will be automatically disconnected from webhook notifications. This means new messages will no longer sync to Social Synk, but existing data remains intact.
  • 60 Days Without Active Subscription: Your account and ALL associated data will be permanently deleted. This includes messages, conversations, connected accounts, message templates, categories, and analytics data.
  • Reactivation: You can reactivate your account by subscribing to any plan before the 60-day deletion period. This will preserve all your data and reconnect your social accounts.
  • Notifications: You will receive email notifications before social account disconnection and before permanent account deletion.

Important: Once your account is deleted after 60 days of inactivity, this action is irreversible. Please export any data you wish to keep before this period ends.

User Responsibilities & Obligations

Account Security

  • • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • • Use strong, unique passwords
  • • Report unauthorized access immediately
  • • Keep contact information up to date

Acceptable Use

  • • Use service only for lawful purposes
  • • Respect intellectual property rights
  • • Comply with social media platform terms
  • • No spam, harassment, or malicious content

Important: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and third-party terms of service.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use Social Synk to:

  • • Send spam or unsolicited messages
  • • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • • Distribute malware or harmful content
  • • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • • Reverse engineer or copy our technology
  • • Use automated systems to access the service
  • • Share or resell access to your account
  • • Interfere with service operation
  • • Harvest user data without consent

Service Availability & Limitations

Service Level

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Third-Party Dependencies

Our service depends on third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, OpenAI). Service interruptions from these providers may affect our functionality.

Usage Limits

We may implement reasonable usage limits to ensure fair access for all users and maintain service quality.

Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Social Synk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • • We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or indirect damages
  • • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the past 12 months
  • • We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices or browsers
  • • Third-party integrations are subject to their respective terms and limitations

Account Termination

User-Initiated Termination

  • • Delete your account anytime from settings
  • • 7-day grace period to cancel deletion request
  • • Data deletion occurs within 7 days after grace period
  • • No refunds for unused subscription periods
  • • Export your data before deletion

Automatic Account Cleanup

  • • 30 days inactive: Social accounts disconnected
  • • 60 days inactive: Account permanently deleted
  • • Email notifications sent before each action
  • • Reactivate anytime before 60 days to keep data

Service-Initiated Termination

  • • Violation of terms may result in suspension
  • • Illegal activities lead to immediate termination
  • • Multiple violations may result in permanent ban
  • • Appeal process available for disputed actions

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices.

  • • Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification
  • • Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms
  • • You may terminate your account if you disagree with changes
  • • Check this page regularly for the most current terms
